We recently threw a silent disco party and it was a blast! The idea behind a “silent disco”, is basically listening and dancing to music through headphones worn by each party guest. The cool thing is you can hook up your phone/devices to each separate transmitter and switch between three separate channels. Each channel is a different color on your headphone so it is fun to see who is listening to which channel! You can throw your own silent disco event by renting the equipment and creating playlists ahead of time. The process and setup is easy and in the end you will have a memorable event!
I bought most of the decorations for the disco theme on Amazon. I highly recommend these items. They were great quality and fairly inexpensive.
The disco ball was a nice size and heavy. We had to find studs in the ceiling to hang it securely so keep that in mind. The foil curtains were actually a pack of 8 and covered a huge space to border off a dance floor. The disco ball balloons around the DJ table were a pack of 20 but I only used 8 of them since they were 20-inch and great size. I filled them with helium at my local party store. We also had one strobe light and it gave off fun lighting options once it was night time. It is music activated too!
I did do my own marquee sign out of foam boards and patio lights and I loved how it turned out! Stay tuned for a video tutorial on that.
