Hi friends! I am so excited to finally share the coffee/tea bar station with you today. I have been wanting to do this for years and it has become my favorite part of the house now for obvious reasons. Mostly everything I purchased to put this little space together can be found on Amazon.
I had a bit of a challenge because although there is a good amount of counter space, I have cabinets right above it and awkward plug socket placement that didn’t leave much room for wall decor. But eventually I made it work and happy with how it turned out.
A few things to highlight:
I have the Breville Bambino Espresso machine and I can’t recommend it enough! It performs like a commercial grade machine! It takes seconds to make that perfect espresso – and has the milk frother built in. I usually get the Starbucks ground coffee brand.
I added under-cabinet lighting and the bar looks amazing especially at night!
These 10-ounce set of 6 double-wall mugs are a hit in the household. I actually tried out several before settling on this set because others did not work as expected. But these are insulated and won’t scald your hand with hot drinks.
To store the mugs, I used these under-cabinet hooks that come in a set of 3 to store 12 mugs. They come in brown and white too. I ended up using 3M tape instead of screwing these into the cabinets and they work perfectly with the weight of the mugs.
