I recently shared our master bedroom reveal on the blog here. In today’s post, I walk you through all the accessories and the details that completed the look.
Nightstand Mirrors
I amped up the glam by adding these full-length floor mirrors behind each of the nightstands and I absolutely love how it turned out! Matt initially thought this was a crazy idea but once we placed the mirrors behind the nightstands, he was sold. It is good to think outside the box sometimes.
Chandelier and Nightstand Lamps
I searched through endless options for a chandelier and most of the ones I loved had a hefty price. Until I found this one and it was perfect. Total glam and the price was just right! Then came the challenge of finding nightstand lamps that paired up to the glam of the chandelier. I found a set at one retailer but shipping took forever. This was the main reason why the bedroom reveal was delayed. After several weeks of contacting this retailer and back and forth emails, I get an email noting that the lamps were no longer available. Then I was back at square one scouring the net for similar lamps. Luckily, I found these and they matched the chandelier perfectly! And I love how they look against the full length mirrors.
Curtains and Area Rug
We got these grommet blackout curtains a few years back and love them! We ended up getting other colors for the kids’ rooms too. They are inexpensive for a set of 2 and come in various sizes.
Our area rug is 8×10 and comes in several different sizes, along with runner options too. I knew I wanted a neutral colored rug to offset the furniture and this one was perfect.
Bedding and Pillow Formation
To give the bed that hotel-luxury look, I went for this pillow formation: 3 euro shams, 2 king size pillows, and 2 standard pillows. You can place the standard pillows in front the king size pillows or behind the euro shams. In the picture below, mine are placed behind the euro shams. We also added this gel-infused memory foam mattress topper for extra comfort.
Love Never Fails Customized Sign
I love how this sign turned out! I briefly shared it on my ‘Home’ stories when it arrived but had to re-share it, now that it has found its place above our bed. The sign is from the shop RootedNGroudedHome on Etsy. They have a huge selection of signs to choose from. I chose the ‘Love Never Fails’ option with the verses from 1st Corinthians 13:4-8.
