I wanted to give you all the information you need for a successful and easy shopping experience because we are only a few days away. And I created my FIVE FOR FIVE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE GUIDE – which is my top 5 items in the 5 top categories of the sale. This guide will save you so much time and will keep you focused on what you need instead of feeling overwhelmed, not knowing where to begin!

ALL ABOUT THE SALE
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the most anticipated sales of the year. Why? Well, because this is a rare sale event where you will find brand new merchandise offered at major discounts! After the sale, items go back to full price. That is why this sale attracts many customers and the timing of it is perfect as we approach the fall/winter season.
Key dates you should know:
The main part of the sale that is available to everyone is from July 19th to August 4th. However, if you have a Nordstrom Rewards Card, you can have early access based on your cardmember status as you see above in the dates. Your status is dependent on the points/dollar system below:
You don’t have to have a Nordstrom rewards card to shop the sale, but if you want to get early access, then you have now through July 10th to get one! And as a bonus you get a $60 bonus note just by signing up!
I will say that, each year this sale gets more and more exposure from bloggers and more and more people are shopping it which means items continue to sell out faster and faster! Items do often sell out during the early access part of the sale and restocks are a hit or miss. All the more reason for you to apply for a Nordstrom Rewards Card and follow my sale picks on the LiketoKnow.it app to stay up to date.
FIVE FOR FIVE
I am not here to bombard you with a list of items to go shop but I want to be 100% thoughtful and targeted with the shopping process. Here is how I will be covering the sale this year – I will be selecting my top five items in five categories that I feel are important to shop to get the most bang for your buck. They are:
1. Name Brands
2. Fall
3. Athleisure/Active Wear
4. Beauty
5. Back to School
I am taking time to scan the entire sale for you and pick out the top five items in each of these categories – because 1) I know most people don’t have thousands of dollars to drop on one sale and 2) it can be so overwhelming and hard to have a starting point and 3) I want you to avoid getting superfluous items that you don’t need. So you can use my Five for Five as a guide and a good starting point! Of course you are free to shop outside of my picks as well.
HOW I GET CREDIT FOR THE SALE
Like I said above, it does take a good amount of time to scan the entire sale (thousands of items!), do try-ons, link and post. That is why I am 100% appreciative and thankful for you to shop via my links whether through the blog here, or my bio link on my Instagram feed or most importantly, my links in the Liketoknow.it app. When you use my links to order online and do store pick up, I get credit and a small commission from that purchase. If you just shop the sale directly in the store, I don’t receive any credit that way. Of course any commission I make does not change the sale price for you – I just get a small tiny portion.
