Last year I wrote a blog post on my skincare routine but today I wanted to focus on my under-eyes and what I have been using for a more youthful appearance. No doubt, your eyes can be the biggest factor in revealing your age. With trial and error, I have found the best products to combat bagginess, puffiness and dark circles.
I need to preface this post with this: no amount of products applied cosmetically will do the trick. It is all about what you incorporate in the overall approach. You have to do your part by taking care of your skin from the inside out – meaning drinking of plenty of water, cutting back on sugary foods and getting plenty of rest.
1. Tula Glow and Get It Eye Balm
I wish this was back in stock already! This eye balm is so popular. Each time it comes back in stock it sells out so fast! I would add your email on the Tula site to be notified of when it is back in stock. This eye balm is your instant pick-me up for brightening your eye area and giving it that glow. It has a cool tingling sensation and can be applied under or over your makeup. I keep this eye balm in my purse to re-apply throughout the day. Use code VIVIANE20 to save 20% on any Tula products.
2. Tula Multi-Spectrum Eye Renewal Serum
This serum is so good! It is designed with a cooling metal applicator that feels so soothing and it helps with applying the right amount of product. The serum is packed with caffeine properties that combat fine lines and wrinkles plus it helps reduce bagginess and puffiness. You can use it either morning or night or both! You need to use it consistently to see results so be patient! Use code VIVIANE20 to save 20% on any Tula products.
I am still loving my VII Code Oxygen Masks! We treat our faces to masks, so why not for the under-eyes? When the under-eye area starts to blend with the rest of your complexion, you look youthful! These eye masks are so good and full of antioxidants that minimize visible signs of aging around the eyes, and combat fine lines and wrinkles. Each box comes with 6 treatment eye mask pairs. You peel and stick on the under eye area for 8 hours. So I usually use the masks overnight or whenever I know I will be home for the day.
4. VII Code Oxygen Hydrating Spray
This is a new product in my lineup. I spray it around my eyes (keeping the eyes closed of course!) to hydrate and refresh. You can use it either before or after applying your under-eye moisturizer.
5. Dr. Brandt No More Baggage Eye-Depuffing Gel
This de-puffing gel deserves all the rave! If you are looking for the “it” product to help reduce the appearance of bags, puffiness and dark circles, this stuff is gold. I apply this in the morning before applying my under-eye moisturizer and before makeup. You can use it twice a day, so it can be applied at night too, again before your under-eye moisturizer.
6. Lily Ana Naturals Eye Cream
Have you ever seen a product with over 4000 rave reviews? If you are looking for a more affordable option for an under-eye moisturizer that is packed with natural ingredients, this is the best in my opinion! I alternate between this and the Tula Eye Renewal Serum. I apply it at night after cleaning my face to let it work its magic. I wake up with smooth under-eyes and my makeup goes on so much better!
Hope this round up of my favorite under-eye skincare was helpful!
