I hope you all are having a great start to your week! Today on the blog, I am sharing a few of my recent designer dupe purchases from Amazon along with some others I have been keeping an eye on.
I realize the “dupe” topic may be a sensitive one with some. I personally don’t mind finding a good quality dupe for a fraction of the price. If I am wearing a dupe, I am 100% honest about it. I also tend to leave my real designer items behind while on travel and dupes come in handy as a backup. Material things are just “things” in the end of course but I won’t be as upset loosing a $15 pair of Karen Walker sunglasses as I would loosing the real pair.
Karen Walker Sunglasses Dupe
Speaking of Karen Walker, I get so many questions about my designer-inspired sunglasses and most are surprised to know that they are Karen Walker dupes from Amazon for less than $10 a pair! The set comes with a tortoise and black frame. I am telling you these are the best low-priced sunglasses I ever owned. They have been through so much (tosses and turns in my bag, travel, etc.) and still look good as new!
Designer Natural Bag Dupes
Natural bags are all the rave during spring and summer. They are functional, sturdy and go with everything! You can easily accessorize them with cute scarfs to customize your look. I have this specific rattan shoulder bag for less than $40! Other great options are this bamboo bag or this woven large straw bag which is a great dupe for the Clare V one.
Louis Vuitton Wallet Dupe
I was looking for a new wallet and wanted something classic and minimal. I came across this checkered Louis Vuitton inspired wallet and after sifting through the comments, I added it to my cart. When I got it, I was beyond surprised at the quality. The zippers are smooth, no fraying at the seams, the gold hardware does not look cheap and is very sturdy. I got the brown one but contemplating in getting the cream one as well.
Gucci Belt Dupe
I recently purchased this Gucci belt dupe and love it! It did not have as many reviews as the other items but it was tagged with “free return” so I figured if I did not like it I can return it. But I ended up liking the quality and the hardware is not cheap looking at all. The belt size is 110 cm and for me (I usually wear a size 4), I had to get an extra hole punched since it was too loose with my jeans. You can take the belt to a nearby dry cleaners and they should be able to do this for you for a few dollars.
Designer Hat Dupe
Hats are a great accessory year round and add that “something extra” to any outfit. But designer ones costs a bit too much for my liking. I recently purchased this Fedora hat in the camel color and love it. It has a classic belt detail and comes in so many colors, for less than $17! I can’t wait to style it in the upcoming spring and summer months.
David Yurman Bracelet Dupes
I like to keep it simple with my jewelry and I absolutely love classic looking pieces. I am contemplating over these David Yurman inspired bracelets:
– Mixed metal woven bracelet
– Cable wire bangle
