We are approaching warmer weather, friends! Easter and Mother’s Day are around the corner, two of my favorite holidays. The start of spring plus these two occasions call for a wardrobe sprucing. Right now, you can shop some great pieces, like this strapless pinstriped jumpsuit from Forever 21!
Jumpsuits are feminine, easy on-the-go pieces, perfect when you don’t have the time to put a whole outfit together. Plus, if you are traveling to warmer destinations, packing is made simple with one-piece garments like jumpsuits.
To be honest, I don’t own too many jumpsuits because I am apprehensive about the sizing. It can be a hit or miss sometimes. If it fits in the top, it may not fit in the bottom or vice versa. But I took a chance on this jumpsuit and so glad I did. The blue and white pinstriped pattern gives a nautical feel and the cutout at the waist is subtle. It also has pockets! To elevate the look, you can add a light weight white blazer like this one.
For the accessories, I opted for strappy nude sandals to not compete with the jumpsuit colors and pattern. And because of the sweetheart strapless neckline, I decided to go sans necklace and instead do a pair of statement earrings for a metallic touch. I wish I had these exact pair linked for you but they were a gift from Egypt. They came with a matching necklace that is pretty decadent so I usually wear one or the other, just not together. I found a similar option for the earrings here. I would also do a small crossbody or a clutch like the one I am wearing to keep the look easy-breezy 😉
