I feel like I have been wearing one cocktail party dress after another lately. But this surge in events is not dying out anytime soon.

I stumbled on this coral lace bodycon dress at Nordstrom during a recent sale and could not get over how beautiful the color and the lace were. And the best part, it was on sale for only $50! I took a chance since it was a bit daring but with Nordstrom free shipping and returns, I am not locked in if it does not work out.

I ordered the medium size initially but it was loose. So back it went and I exchanged it for a small. The small fit perfectly. It was a smidge snug on the bottom. Middle-Eastern girl hips don’t lie I guess 😊. I loved the lace detailing all around the edges and the collar bone. The waist accents added that extra edginess. And of course the back was a statement in of itself.

I paired the dress with white accessories, like this fold-over clutch and these old pair of faux pearl earrings (similar style here). I wore these nude strappy sandals that I got from Amazon for less than $26!

You can totally rock this dress for a fall event too. Throw on a black leather jacket, pair it with taupe booties and neutral accessories, and you will be good to go!

I am not a fan of in-store shopping so I reverted to Amazon to find this adhesive backless bra. It can be a trial-and-error process when purchasing from Amazon but the payoff is the convenience of Prime shipping and free returns on select items. Anyways, overall this bra did the job for the price. I did wear it several times with other dresses and I can tell that it starts to lose its “glue” a bit from repeated wear. I also noticed that if you are wearing a loose/flowy top, you might not feel as “supported”. But with this look, it did well because the form fitting style of the dress kept the bra fairly snug and in place.
